The Hawley trail connects the Delaware & Hudson (D&H) Canal Park at Lock 31 on one side of town to Lake Wallenpaupack
on the other.
Along the trail, interpretative signs provide insight into Hawley’s history. Learn how the town evolved to meet changing needs.
From the construction of the D&H Canal, to an expanding glass industry, to silk and knitted textiles, to a growing tourism economy, Hawley has been an active community center since the 1800s.
